Né à San Francisco en 1939, Ron Nagle vit et travaille dans sa ville natale. Il est à la fois musicien, peintre et sculpteur. Après ses années de formation dans les années 1960 auprès de Peter Voulkos, grande figure du renouveau de la céramique et aux côtés de Ken Price, Ron Nagle s’essaie à divers styles.
