Meekyoung Shin explore l’histoire de l’art en ayant recours à un matériau rarement utilisé dans l’art contemporain occidental… le savon. Le thème «Translation» est au coeur de son travail… une réflexion permanente sur la confrontation entre les cultures, la concordance des temps, l’espace où ses oeuvres sont regardées, les correspondances entre les formes et les matériaux utilisés. Présentée sur la scène artistique internationale par la galerie Kukje à Séoul, Meekyoung Shin expose son travail pour la première fois en France à la galerie Lefebvre & Fils.
